G.A.P North East GAP North East (Gay Affirmative Psychotherapy) is a service for those of us who are finding it difficult to be who we really are, when our sexual identity can sometimes feel like it keeps us apart. We provide a safe place for those who may or may not identify with the stereotypical role models of being Gay, Lesbian or Bi Sexual. We also provide an opportunity for you, the family member, who has a loved one who is Gay, Lesbian or Bi Sexual to explore your reaction and any issues that may arise for you. Is a UKCP registered psychotherapist, an accredited psychotherapist with the Association of Accredited Psychospiritual Practitioners, and an experienced group leader. He undertook an apprenticeship training in Psychosynthesis with Diana Whitmore and holds a diploma from the Psychosynthesis & Education Trust. He has more than thirty years experience of working with Psychospiritual development, and he travels internationally to run courses on a variety of subjects including Kabbalah and Psychosynthesis. Will is author of several books including 'The Complete Guide to the Kabbalah' (Rider, November 2001) and 'The Elements of Psychosynthesis' (Element, 1991, currently available only from Will's website at http://www.willparfitt.com) At his home in Glastonbury, Somerset he sees individual clients for supervision, coaching, mentoring and life guidance sessions.
